Course Description
Bachelor of Optometry and Vision Science (BOVS), NAMS
Optometry is a unique primary eye care profession. TIO offers 4 Years Bachelor of Optometry and vision science affiliated to NAMS, and two years post graduate degree, Master of Optometry (M. optom) in collaboration with Pokhara University. TIO is pioneer in the field of optometry education and one of the first colleges in Nepal to offer a Master in Optometry Course.
Eligibility
a. Passed 10+2 Science or equivalent (with Physics, Chemistry and Biology) with 50% aggregate in total marks or GPA 2.4
OR
Secured the percentage equivalent to above eligibility in regards to the certificate level programs (eg. A-Level) with different grading system
OR
b. Applicants who have passed the Ophthalmic Science with at least 50% aggregate in total marks and Registered in Nepal Health Professional Council.
